FAQ

What is my PIN?
Your PIN (personal identification number), or confirmation number, is a four digit code that acts as a password to your library account and library services in general.

If you received a library card prior to 2005, you may not have a PIN. Alternately, the PIN may have defaulted to the last four digits of your telephone number at that time.

How do I change my PIN?
You can come in person to any of our branches to change your PIN. Please bring your driver’s license or other valid photo ID and your library card.

You can also change your PIN by logging into your library account, but to do this you must know your old PIN. Once you are logged in, go to My Account, located in the top right corner of the page. In the Personal Information Tab, click “Change Pin.” Enter your current pin and your desired change. Select “Update.”

How do I log onto my library account?
Click Search Our Catalog tab located on the right side of our website. On the page that loads, click on “Login,” located on the top right part of the page. In the box that pops up, you will need to input your library barcode and your PIN.

Your library barcode begins 2296400 and you will need to type in all the numbers with no spaces.

Your PIN is a four digit code that acts as a password for your library account.

What do I do if I lost my library card?

If you’ve lost your card, you can purchase a replacement card for $2 at any location.  You will need to bring your photo ID.

How do I place a book on hold?
From the book’s record in our publicly available catalog, click on the “Place Request” button.

It is generally advisable to use Place Request as opposed to Request this Copy. We may own three copies of a book. If you click Request this Copy, you are requesting a specific copy, as opposed to the first available copy of that title. It may increase your wait time.
